My daughter has been dying for these shoes for years. I finally purchased a pair, mostly because I got them half price in her size. When they came, she came unglued! She loved them immediately. They are very cute and the soles seem really sturdy. The only thing I can't understand is why they use such a cheap looking shoe for all that hard bead work. These shoes are nothing more than a canvas shoe with beads sewn on them. The canvas is thin, but the beads are sewn on individually, so they stay on tight. They have a removable insole so if your child grows a little, that comes out and the shoe can fit a little longer. My daughter wears a size 2, and when they came, she said they were tight, but when I removed the insole, she said they felt good. I am thinking the insole serves as a "1/2" size difference, so that's a cool feature. I don't know that I would've paid the total normal going rate for this shoe, it's quite expensive, but because I got them half price it was a pretty good buy. I think these shoes will be around for some time. Generally Lelli Kelly shoes comes with lip gloss, or other girly items, but mine came with nothing but the shoes. I don't know if they were suppossed to be included, but they weren't in my order. If you order from the Lelli Kelly web-site lip gloss is included with every order. UPDATE: My daughter wore these a total of two hours and one of the big beads started to peel off, as it was glued on, not sewn on. For this reason, I won't be buying Lelli Kelly shoes again. These were worn indoors at the time, so there was no reason for it to peel off. Now she says she doesn't want to wear them again in fear that more beads will come off. I don't know if I got a dud pair of shoes, but for the price you pay, even though I only paid half this asking price, you would think that they would last more that two hours!
