The softest tiniest bunny ever Dec 15, 2011
By Noodelicious I ordered this bunny and it shipped through Big Fly Sports. They never told me it shipped (which was unnerving), but I was happy once it arrived the next day (I chose local express delivery). It came in a big box, but inside it was rolled up in a little ball and stuffed in a plastic bag. Luckily it didn't ruin its plushness and it wasn't irrevocably smooshed.
First off, this is the softest anything you will ever feel. If you read other reviews they mention the softness too. Unbelievable. It's as soft as what I would imagine a cloud to feel like. Sounds corny and implausible, but truly I defy you to find anything softer ever. Even the nose, which is a perfect pink and a different material than the body, is super soft. Everything about this bunny demands to be held and loved.
Second, the color is indeed slightly lighter than it appears in pic. More gray but for some reason photographs more brown. I think the color is beautiful.
My only complaint (and reason for four stars) is the size. It's supposed to be 12 inches. Head to toe is maybe 9 inches. I guess they count the ear length in total length, but since they're usually laying down, I don't think that is a fair estimate. I had read several reviews that talk about Jellycat's toys being small, but now I fully understand. I also fully understand why everyone talks about the price in relevance to the size. These plushies are very expensive for the sized toy you get. If they made a 15 inch in this style, I would exchange it, but they don't. Unless you're buying for an infant, I wouldn't get less than a 15 inch plush in any of their styles as clearly they run very small. 12 inches would be too small for even a six year old to be able to get a good arm full of cuddles. I am upset it didn't run true to size. Really, I'd pay anything for these animals as they are that worth it, but being told one size and getting something different is what upset me.
That said, I still think these are far and away the best made, most adorable (especially since they aren't cloying in appearance), sweetest and softest plush ever. I'm already picking out the next one to get!

Cute, very soft bunny! Mar 08, 2011
By justmyopinion This bunny is adorable! It's lighter in person than it looked on my computer screen. It's more the color of an actual cottontail bunny... more light brown/grey than pictured. Also... this bunny has a tail, but I was expecting it to be white. It's not white, it's the brown/grey/beige swirl plush fabric. Still very cute and oh so soft! I think my daughter will love it.

Perfect Comfort Toy Sep 24, 2011
By Tracy Robert I purchased this bunny because it reminds me of the line drawn bunnies in books like "That Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown" by Cressida Cowell and Neal Layton, and "Not a Box" by Antoinette Portis. I had seen the beige/cream/chocolate colored bashful line bunnies by JellyCat, and decided that I liked the sophisticated twist of the natural Woodland bunny. No matter what color you purchase this style bunny in, it is a perfect "lovey" or comfort item for a young child. It is irresistibly soft and floppy, and the perfect size for a young child. However, as an adult, I am finding the natural coloring with the more creative/imaginative design to be a little off (see my photo with product listing). In my opinion, the neutral/single tone colors of the bashful line bunnies better suit the design of the bunny. I may add a bashful friend for my Woodland bunny, but I can't put it down. They just beg to be loved and held regardless of the fur color. That Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown Not a Box Board Book
Most adorable stuffed animal ever May 08, 2012
By Copperfield I ordered this bunny for my 2 year old granddaughter's Easter basket. She loves him so much, but what's really significant here is that my daughter and I both want to try and steal him away and keep him for ourselves! This bunny is so incredibly soft and cuddly and the expression on his face is irresistibly poignant. It is essentially impossible to be in the same room with this bunny without hugging him. We named him Floppy, because that's what he is, especially his ears. In size, this bunny is a bit smaller than you'd think with the 12" description, but he is the perfect size for a child to hug. My daughter says she's known about Jellycat stuffed animals for a while, but this was my first experience- I just saw him on Amazon and he looked so cute that I took a chance- so glad I did. I'm so impressed with Jellycat that I also just ordered a Jellycat cat for my 97 year old mother who has suddenly become a great stuffed animal lover in her 90's. I got her a cat because she's such a cat lover. But this bunny... Well, just get him. If you don't have a kid to give him to, get him for yourself and take one look in his eyes- instant love.
Velveteen Rabbit Apr 10, 2012
By Jen My daughter got this from the Easter Bunny ;-) If you loved the Velveteen Rabbit as a child, then you will fall in love with this little bunny. This is exactly what I would picture from the book. I hope my daughter loves it until the fur rubs off!
