Good purchase Jan 13, 2010
By Shardul Rao I purchased this product to match the DaVinci Emily Crib we bought 5 months ago. I was a little concerned about the quality of the material used for this product based on other reviews, but the product is as good as any other particle board product can be. The packaging was good, the wood finish is good (and matches with the crib) and more importantly it was quite easy to put together. I would strongly recommend this product along with the crib (see my separate review for the crib).

Beautiful Dresser, Easy Project Oct 28, 2010
By sturdygirl This dresser was hands-down the easiest furniture assembly I've done in the past several years. All the parts (screws, etc.) were there, all the holes were well-drilled and centered, and everything fit together just as it should. I did nearly all of it by myself, in about three hours. The finished dresser is beautiful and has plenty of storage for all of my daughter's clothes. I would highly recommend this dresser!

Looks nice, but is made of cheap materials Jun 12, 2011
By S. Snider I purchased the entire DaVinci Emily set for my daughter's bedroom. Thankfully, the crib is sturdy and well made. The changing table and this dresser are cheap quality. They all look nice in the room, and to the casual observer, one probably would think they were quality pieces. But the drawers are flimsy, the knobs fall off, and it was a real pain in the a$$ to put together. Now that my daughter is crawling, I worry she's going to pull the whole thing on top of herself. The big positive is that it holds a ton of clothes. The drawers are deep and I fit pretty much all of her clothes in here.

Dont waste your money May 18, 2011
By TaraMM Dont waste your money on this. It looks gorgeous, but it's simply not functional and is poorly made. We received this dresser in the mail last week, to complete our baby's bedroom. It matches the crib and changing table. However, the dresser is not made well, and is not functional. The sides of the dresser seem to be too far apart for the drawers to comfortably glide, so one side or another is not connected. We put it together and took it apart three different times, thinking we had done something wrong....no such luck. My husband had to put wood shims on the sides to narrow the space. It's a temporary fix, but not one that should have to be done for a $300 dresser. Amazon is sending me a new one, and hopefully it will work better than the first. Regardless, unless you have the time to send one back and get a replacement, find something else. I hate to say that, because the furniture is beautiful, but not worth the hassle.

By A. Stephens Although we have yet to use this item (our baby is not due for another 2 months), I can say we are very impressed with it so far. It was in perfect shape when it shipped, the instructions were easy to follow, and it looks beautiful. It's also very sturdy and seems well constructed. It's a very elegant addition to any nursery, and I love the cherry colour. Much more classy looking than many more expensive products. We also bought the Emily changing table and the Emily convertible crib, and are very impressed with both of those too.
