By D. Ury I got this plush tiger for my 6 year old for Christmas because he adores Calvin and Hobbes and this tiger was the closest thing I could find to a Hobbes look-alike. He ADORES it! He reads to it, carries it to the table, sleeps with it, cuddles it. It is the softest stuffed animal I've ever felt and is just too cute for words. This was a GREAT buy!

Our son received this tiger as a gift when he was first born. We started to give it to him for sleeping at about 6 months old and now it's hard to separate him from it! This tiger is extremely soft and cuddly. It has limbs and a tail that are all floppy and not at all stiff like some other stuffed animals which is great because he loves to stuff it in his mouth and crawl around with it. It's also very easy for his small hands to grab on to it and carry it with him. So far (about 4 months worth of constant love), it's been extremely durable--no rips or tears. It's quite amazing that his ears or tail haven't ripped off yet because they withstand a lot of biting! The one thing that I noticed is that it doesn't come with any care instructions and because my son loves this tiger so much, needless to say it needs to get washed or it starts to stink. I found other people complaining of the same thing online and decided to try to wash it. Thankfully, it turned out great! I stuck it in a pillowcase and washed on the short, delicate cycle with cold water and then put in the dryer on the low setting. Tiger came out smelling fresh and feeling fuzzy again and ready to be smothered with love until his next washing. If we have another child, we'll be getting another Jellycat stuffed animal.

By mumzonline We are big fans of Calvin and Hobbes. We bought this tiger for our 6 year old son. We call him Hobbes. He is the only tiger we have been able to find that comes close to the actual Hobbes. He is soft and cuddly and is a constant companion to my son. We love him.
Perfect comfort item Sep 09, 2012
By Kelly Hopper My 3-year-old loves this little tiger. It is his go-to comfort item and he carries it around everywhere. It is a MUST for bedtime. I'm ordering a back-up tiger today in case of lost/damaged original. Ours is appropriately named "Hobbs" and is my son's best friend. :) If you are looking for a cuddly, soft, floppy but durable toy; this is a great pick.
