I bought one of these shaving soaps as a Christmas stocking stuffer for my fiance, and we both loved it, so now it's on my permanent keep-on-hand list. He likes how it feels when shaving, and I love the smell of it on his skin. This replaces a Mistral soap we were previously buying for half the price, a better shave, and a great masculine smell. Also, one bar goes a long way. Love it!

By John Deere soap has a nice pine scent,lathers well,gives a clean smooth shave.it takes a little skill to get a good lather

By Jim This is a very high quality shave soap that gives a great result. This is my regular brand. I lather up with these using a Rooney Silvertip brush. I half filled a military ceramic mug with candle wax. I trim the Lightfoot's slightly to fit into the mug atop the candle wax base and get great results.
