Beloved Sheepy Sep 24, 2010
By David and Lindsay Dreher Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RV81PB70YUXVB I had never heard of Jellycat when my boss gave us this sheep at our baby shower. Now I can't stop telling people about them!
As soon as my daughter could safely play with a lovey, we gave this to her, and it instantly became her favorite animal.
This sheepy is incredibly soft- you have to snuggle it to believe it. The feet have bead-filling in them and the body is underfilled with stuffing, so it can easily be folded in half to sit up like the picture shows. Because it's underfilled, it is also easier for a baby to grab hold of than some other toys.
Before I ever had kids, I knew I wanted to have sheep stuffed animals for my "little lambs", but sheep are white! Baby faux pas, right? Not with this one - it's washable! Jellycat knows their audience, and we've washed it probably a dozen times in the past year, and it's still soft and snuggly, without any fraying or shedding.
Attached is a video showing how attached my daughter already was by seven months of age. At over a year old now, she still loves it. She'll take it with her in a room and set it down to play, but every 5 minutes or so you'll hear "Shh Shh..." as she toddles over to give the Sheepy a hug before going on with her day.

Oh lambie, lambie, lambie Sep 25, 2008
By Morning Star This sheep (Lambie) is so important to our 2-year-old daughter that we had to buy another for emergencies. Lambie has been washed a dozen times, thrown around, dragged on the floor, squished through narrow openings and yanked out, sucked on, and had his fur twiddled every night. And lambie goes on and on and on with nary a rip or tear. She carries around this one and sleeps on the "huge" one as a pillow, called Big Lambie, and she found the emergency one who is now named Clean Lambie.
I cannot say enough good things about the beautiful, soulful, and endlessly loyal Lambie.
We call it his "La Moo Moo...." Mar 15, 2011
By Devraeve We gave this to my son when he was three months old, and since that day, he can not go to sleep without it. We catch him talking to his "La Moo Moo" and biting it throughout the night. He is absolutely obsessed and to see him squish it against his face and find peace when it is near is priceless.
I highly recommend this item as a transition item. This is second one we are buying to make sure that we have a spare.

Very soft, adorable, good quality. Would definately reccomend - worth the cost as it isn't much more than any stuffed animal at the store.

I bought Lambie at a little shop in England while visiting and my baby daughter just loved him. She has slept with him every night for 5 years. He has been used as a teether, a pillow, a bolo, a playmate, a hat and a soother. When he gets a little smelly, I just throw him in the washer and dryer with the clothes. He has held up remarkably considering he is pulled, twisted, chewed on slept on and has his fur twisted every day for 5 years.
She just loves him and he is a real part of the family. He even shows up in family portraits.
This toy is so well made. He hasn't even started losing his fur, although it's more like dreadlocks at this stage.
