I bought this when my son started to feed himself. He was very proud of his own set of dishes. The utensils have metal tips instead of plastic makes actually using utensil easier. The bottom of plate and bowl have rubber ring to keep from sliding when being pushed around by toddler trying to scoop up his food. The plate has a raised lip so kids can push against side of plate. And the cup is a perfect size for little hands. Overall great product... for those worried about melamine and plastics leaching...***DO NOT MICROWAVE OR PUT IN DISHWASHER (even though it is dishwasher safe) AND DO NOT PUT SCALDING HOT FOOD ON PLATES AND BOWLS***JUST HAND WASH EVERYTHING!!!
